Dr. Susan Bridges grew up in Valdese, North Carolina and attended UNC-Chapel Hill for her undergradate degree, studying Public Health. She continued her education at UNC Chapel Hill Dental School earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery.

She always wanted to work with children and their families. After earning her doctorate, she worked at a Public Health Clinic. Over time she found she was happiest working with children, joining Growing

Smiles was a natural choice.

Dr. Bridges lives in Hickory with her husband, two daughters and a son. Her husband is also a dentist, practicing in Lenoir. She enjoys working with her church, spending time with family and traveling.
