Dr. Leach grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and attended The Cannon School for his middle and high school education. He then attended Greensboro College where he majored in Biology and Chemistry, while playing varsity lacrosse as a goalie. After graduation, Dr. Leach studied at The University of North Carolina School of Dentistry where he earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery after 4 years.

 

Dr. Leach then went on to complete a one year General Practice Residency at The Ohio State University, and then continued his education at Children's National Medical Center in Washington D.C., where he obtained a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry.

 

Dr. Leach originally met Dr. Ross Penland on an international dental mission trip to Guatemala, in 2015, and continues to serve on that same mission trip (now in the Dominican Republic) as an instructor. Since meeting Dr. Ross Penland, Dr. Leach has planned to move to Hickory, and work along side his mentor, and friend.

 

Dr. Leach has now made Hickory his home, still enjoys playing lacrosse, and loves the outdoors- especially archery.
